FAQ Rapid Transformational Experience

How long does an RTT® session take?

Each Rapid Transformational Therapy session lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. For this reason, I kindly ask you to block a full 2 hours in your schedule. You’ll leave the session with a personalised audio (ca. 10-15 minutes duration) that you commit to listening to every day for at least 21 days.

How does it feel to be under hypnotherapy?

The experience feels different to everyone. Most people feel relaxed and greatly at ease. You are not asleep. It is a sleep of the nervous system. You have a heightened state of awareness. It’s important to know that how you feel is not an indicator of how effective the therapy is.

How does RTT® work?

Hypnosis is based on neuroscience. It works by creating a burst of brain waves that are the same as when you’re in Rapid Eye Movement (REM) Sleep. That’s what allows you to access the subconscious mind. It’s simple and almost anyone can do it.

Is RTT® the same as Hypnotherapy?

No it’s not. RTT® uses Hypnotherapy as a tool to access the subconscious mind. This is done in the first part of the RTT® process to discover the root cause of your issue. RTT® then uses other tools and healing methods that cause neuroplastic changes which lead to transformation and healing. Outdated beliefs are ‘recoded’ and dysfunctional behavioural patterns interrupted.

What if I don’t “go deep” enough?

How deep you go is not important as this is not linked to results. Just allow yourself to be open to the process and follow the facilitation of your session.

WILL I GET “STUCK” IN HYPNOSIS?

This is not possible. You are always in control for the duration of the session. You are able to talk, move your body and engage actively in a dialogue with myself. You are aware of your surroundings. We are making use of the alpha brain waves to access your subconscious mind under hypnotherapy and this is not to be mistaken for stage hypnotist shows.

WHAT IF I THINK I ALREADY KNOW THE REASONS BEHIND MY ISSUE?

What makes RTT® so incredible is that even if you know the reason, you’ll come away with a NEW perception of your issue. This is what allows you to change the meaning and ultimately your beliefs and behaviours. Often clients are surprised about the scenes their subconscious mind leads them to. So, allow yourself to relax and trust that your subconscious mind will show you exactly what you need to see.

WHAT IF I GO BACK TO PAINFUL OR FRIGHTENING SCENES?

If you go back to scenes from your life that are related to painful experiences, trauma and/or abuse, it is imperative to know that you are not reliving that scene – you are simply reviewing it and you are safe. I will support you and create a safe space for you at all times. Everything you express remains confidential and you may find significant scenes come to you on their own. Just follow the process and allow what you see/feel/experience to unfold.

WHEN WILL I START TO SEE CHANGES?

Everyone experiences change differently. Change happens in 3 ways:
Immediate: You feel a massive shift straight away – immediate changes take effect in your physiology, thoughts and behaviours.
Incremental: You identify cumulative or incremental effects which gradually get stronger over time as you listen to your bespoke audio.
Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts immediately yet one day you suddenly look back and see all the things that have changed in your life.

HOW MANY RTT® SESSIONS DO I NEED?

RTT® is designed to work quickly and give you a powerful breakthrough, making continuous sessions unnecessary. Often only 1-3 sessions are needed, depending on the person and the presenting issue.
